You may ask, "Why not go to a pet store? They have plenty of rodents there." No, most pet stores get their rodents from a place called breeding mills. Breeding mills are a place in which they have animals breed, and, breed and, breed. They do not examine the health of the animals, but only the quantity. To shorten it, they believe in the policy "Quantity over quality." Most people believe that you are saving an animal from being in a poor state from the pet store, and while that may be true, you are also helping the breeding mills. If you buy an animal from a pet store, you are only having the pet store call the breeding mill that provides to them, and ask for another animal, thus supporting the breeding mill and keeping them in business.
